Position Title:   Sales Manager – Customer Communication Management (CCM) Solutions
Location:Beijing
Amount:1

Responsible For: Achievement of the total sales targets for CCM solutions sold into Mainland China
Key results areas include: 
        (a) quarterly billing achievement against plan
        (b) customer relations and service levels
        (c) effective management of the CCM sales team as business justifies the recruitment of this team
Reports to: Country Manager for Greater China
Supervises:  Initially no one but will grow to managing a team of sales people as the business justifies the recruitment of the team

Main Activities: 

    Coordinate the development and implementation of a national sales strategy and plan for the CCM portfolio of solutions
    Maintain a high standard of sales processes such as forecasting and quoting.  Ensure accountability of CCM business.  Monitor actual performance and pipelines
    Coordinate the gathering of market intelligence covering competitors’ products and sales strategies.  Share this information where relevant teams within in the organisation
    Work closely with the Channel Manager to engage, when appropriate, partners and System Integrators in opportunities.  Also work to minimise any potential conflict between the direct selling activities, and those of channel partners.
    Work closely with the relevant direct sales people within the vertical sales team which are targeted to sell all Pitney Bowe Business Insight solutions, including the CCM portfolio.
    Monitor sales and expense performance, and initiate corrective action where appropriate.  Ensure selling costs are maintained within agreed budget
    Effectively manage and control the CCM Sales Team, when hired.  Mentor and assist the team in the management of accounts and the development of their skills and ability.

Key skills: Knowledge of products and the local market.  Sound administrative skills and good analytical and reporting abilities.  Strong personal sales abilities and proven skills in leading a sales team

Internal contacts: Product Managers, Marketing & Consulting Services staff, Channel Manager, sales staff in the other vertical team.
External contacts: Customers, Partners and Systems Integrators
Typical experience: Successful sales management track record (managing sales team and achieving targets);
Evidence of solution selling skills 
Evidence of selling enterprise solutions
Experience of selling into the FSI and Telecoms verticals
Experience working for a Wall Street listed company
A dynamic individual
